Which Is The Best File Compression Software (Algorithm)?

According to me the best file compression software and algorithm award goes to 7z. It is both a software that can RAR or UnRAR your files and bunch of (almost all you must have heard of) other compression algorithm and even a file compression algorithm which is considered to be the best in terms of size reduction of your files. It might take some time to compress if you want to bring out the file with maximum compression, but trust me it’s worth it as it can "un7zip" very fast. 7zip is open source so you can even create your own software that uses 7zip algorithm. For the Mac OS the software has different names but it's basically the same thing.

But if you don’t like its old school look of 7zip, you can try other software like IZArc and PeaZip. But I think that they take a little bit more time to load on my old PC, so I suggest using 7Zip if you are using an old machine.
