Install Multiple Number Of Apps At A Time

You know how our Windows OS keeps on crashing on us and once a while, a time comes when we are left with no other option but to complete wipe our OS Drive. We Usually keep a backup of our personal data like Videos, Movies, Music and your Pictures. You may have even backed up installations of some software that you need on your computer like Skype, Facebook IM, Dropbox, UTorrent, etc. so that you can install all this applications as soon as your PC comes back to life. But we all know much Next Buttons we will have to click only this 5 above mentioned apps.

To save you from this tiresome work there are bunch of services available out there that can make your work a lot, lot easy! Here are some of the services that I have tried and their reviews:

3. Ninite:

This is a free service that will help you to get almost all the apps you'll be needing after a fresh OS installation.

To install this softwares you need to download the Ninite installer with softwares that you specify on Ninite's site. Once you check all the softwares for which you want the installation, just click download and then use that installer when ever you need to install all that apps at once.

2. FreeApps:

A weird name for an app but it's second on my list as it has more number of apps to choose from. You'll have to download and install the FreeApps' PC client and then from that software you can specify what softwares you want to install. All the softwares are categorized in different tabs like Giveaway, Freeware, Updates, Uninstallers and Status. It even has a list for iPhone and Android so even your smartphone is taken care of.

Download:

1. AllMyApps:

This app is at the top of this list because it truly feature packed app. This app goes through your softwares and then lists apps that are in both your computer and their database. And trust me on this their database is HUGE. Almost all of my major apps were listed on that list.

Once the app knows what apps match its database, it saves those apps in its database of your account so you don't forget to install any of those apps. Just like FreeApps even this notifys you on updates. You can add multiple devices to this single AllMyApps account so softwares on your Work PC and Home PC will stay in sync.

Move Files Automatically

You know the annoyance involved in categorizing your internet downloads. You keep on downloading files like music files, videos, documents, etc and then you have to go to your Downloads folder and keep those files somewhere else so that you can manage them.

But doing that manually is just irritating. So guys at CodeLine have created this freeware called QucikMove that keeps an eye on the folders you mentioned and then if a file matches your rules it'll be automatically moved to you specified destination.

All you need to move certain files from your one folder to another one is create some rules. The rules can be made on the basis of file name, file extension, both file name and file extension, and some regular expressions.

So that means if you want to move all your music downloads from downloads folder to your music folder you can create a rule like:

All Files That Exactly Matches File Extension: .mp3, .wav

When Found In : C:\Users\UserName\Downloads

Always Move To: Libraries\Music

This way you can create multiple rules for the same file , folder to automate almost all of your tasks related to moving files.

How to Auto Shutdown Your Comuter?

Ever wanted to go to sleep while listening your playlist, but didn't because of the fear of letting the computer sucking power the whole night or day (if you are like me!) or any other reasons. Actually there are many ways to do this but i'm going to show you the easiest one.

Use a software called Auto Shutdown from Cnet Download. The link to download is here.

I don't think you need to know any thing else, you can just install the software just the way you Install any other software (Keep Clicking on Next Button till the Finish Button Comes) and then you'll understand that it's GUI is pretty easy to understand. Just set the time and the action you want to apply.
